Local working practices

The local workforce are much the same as anywhere else, some are good and really helpful, some a little too helpful and some just spend all day hanging around.

The electrician got out his tallest ladder to fix the lights on the fusing shed, but it was too short for the highest light. Fortunately the telehandler had broken down so I knew I would not come round the corner to find him standing on a pallet on the forks 10m up in the air working on live electricity.

Huberis is a terrible thing.

But I suppose one out of two is some consolation (it's not a pallet, he's in the bucket). We still haven't worked out how they started the telehandler...

The local bus service is terrible, but as ever the locals have their own answer
